CUSTOM TATTOOS IN MANCHESTER

Opened in April 21 as a private studio for jayne rogers. Jayne began working in tattoo shops as a teenager in Manchester City centre.  After years working in afflecks as a body piercer and working on tattoo receptions she began a tattoo apprenticeship in 2011. Tattooing under the name the jayne. 

From the city centre to Cheshire and Stockport, Jayne has come back to her roots and opened sacred lines. Monton is where Jayne grew up, it’s close to Eccles centre and is around 6 miles from the city centre of Manchester. 2022 marked 10 years since jayne completed her apprenticeship.

I began tattooing old school designs, learning how to push ink technically. I enjoy working in colour and black and grey. I love linework and am happy working from very fine lines to very bold. Since my early 20s I have loved dotwork and geometric designs. I started tattooing mandalas on tracing paper before the programmes made life so much easier. This style mixed with the traditional tattoos I used to do led me into doing some blackwork pieces. I learned to tattoo more realism with other artists I have worked with over the years. I utilise all the skills I have learned over the years to create custom pieces for every client. I believe that your tattoo is as individual as you are. Big or small they are just as important.
